Matthew Posey
After graduating from Southwest Texas University with a BBA in Finance, I worked for FSC Securities Corporation for several years. There I worked in comprehensive financial planning for movie and music professionals, large families, and many corporate Presidents and VPs in and around Austin. I received my insurance license in 2001 and completed my Registered Paraplanner Designation from the College of Financial Planning in 2002.
In the early summer of 2003 I took a position as a Loan Processor at an independent Processing company. In August of 2004 I moved to Ameripro Funding, dba Land Mortgage as a Loan Officer. It has been a great transition from Financial Planning to Mortgage Banking because I continue to have the opportunity to assist my clients to achieve their financial goals.
I believe in helping people achieve their financial goals through structuring the best mortgage financing possible. I strive to achieve perfection from myself and others around me. My goal is to educate my clients about their entire loan process and make sure that they are satisfied from the beginning to the end of their loan.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife Margarita. I also enjoy playing and practicing my drums, playing billiards and fishing at one of Austin's many surrounding lakes and rivers. My philosophy in life is simple... If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.
